I was lucky enough to grow up in the creative mecca of Cornwall, spending my childhood fashion designing, scrap-booking, and (driving my parents up the wall) getting paint on my bedroom carpet.

Since then, I’ve skipped over the border into Devon (mainly just so I can eat my scones cream-first* without getting all the stick).

In my first job after graduating in fashion & textile design (more years ago now than I care to remember), I discovered I was also pretty good at writing. I soon found myself leaning into the creative side of business marketing to make the most of this unusual skills pairing, and set about working towards my Chartered Institute of Marketing certification.

Limelight Creative was born out of a love for championing small businesses and helping solo founders thrive through creativity, strategy and storytelling.

I’ve crafted web content on subjects ranging from ethical clothing to surf lessons, in turn, targeting everyone from global wholesalers to British staycationers.

I’ve helped new service providers turn their passions into profit through considered brand and print design, and transformed DIY business branding into strategic visual identities.
